Above quote continued: "It is not wearied by our sins, or our indifference. And therefore, it is quite relentless in it's determination that we shall be cured of those sins, at whatever cost to us. At whatever cost to Him."
One thing about God, regardless of what we do or how we feel, His character and Word doesn't change. I encourage you to allow God in His perfect wholeness to be your safe space. Allow yourself to be vulnerable with Him so that His love will fill those empty area and transform you from the inside out.
Whenever I listen to the song Reckless Love by Cory Asbury, the bridge always hits me the most:
"There's no shadow You won't light up,
Mountain You won't climb up,
Coming after me.
There's no wall You won't kick down.
Lie You won't tear down,
Coming after me."
There's nothing that God wouldn't do to meet you right where you are! He understands you, He sees you and He can handle ALL of you. Trust Him to hold you in His hands.
"But—When God our Savior revealed his kindness and love, 5 he saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit.[a] 6 He generously poured out the Spirit upon us through Jesus Christ our Savior. 7 Because of his grace he made us right in his sight and gave us confidence that we will inherit eternal life." - Titus 3:4-7
